The New Beginnings
On March 4th, students attended the famous Broadway show,” Hamilton.” But before we get into the interesting parts, let’s rewind a bit and take a trip to February 2nd when it all began.
On Monday, February 2nd, 2026, nine students signed up for a program that might change the way they see history as a whole. This program was called the Hamilton Education program. The program was headed by Mr. Chase, who kindly provided fresh donuts to keep the members motivated.
The Result of Hard Work
In the end, all the students were picked to see the Broadway show “Hamilton” and had a great time bonding with friends. The musical was performed at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City (226 W. 46th St). The show was spectacular, with powerful musical numbers and top-notch acting. The sets, props, and costumes were very well-done and exciting to see. The theater was super fancy and very pleasant to be in. They were selling Hamilton-themed merch at the stand, such as Owala water bottles, keychains, T-shirts, hoodies, and many more! After the show, the cast did a Q & A with the schools that attended. The schools’ questions were prepared in advance and sent to the cast to answer. One member of the cast was actually part of the original Hamilton cast! Another worker who attended the Q & A was the hair and makeup artist! They also gave advice to the students, which they called “the next generation,” right in front of them. Some quotes were “Let your dreams win” and “prioritize your mental health.” Overall, this show was a fun, exciting, and powerful experience for everyone!
