The easiest way to stay safe is to get plenty of vitamin C, wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, stay away from sick people, and avoid crowds.
The flu is more dangerous for toddlers and older adults because toddlers are still growing, and older adults are more susceptible.
For some people, the flu only lasts a few days, but for others, it can take days or weeks to recover.
