The wind turbine experiment was proctored by Mr.Kaiser, a middle school science teacher. This is a tradition for Mr.Kasier as he does this with every class every year. The experiment is about making your very own wind turbine blades. Then you would see which wind turbine produced the most wind speed with an anemometer, which is a device that measures wind speed and sometimes direction. For the experiment, you worked with your table, usually of 4, but can be less. Some students who won got a prize, usually a candy. The experiment spanned a week. First, you would cut out a cardboard box with scissors while discussing the best design that would lead you to victory and a sweet prize with your team. Next, you sketch designs until you find perfection. So in all the experiment was a fun way to learn about energy and how engineers work together to build things.
